It's been rather warm here all week, to the point that you didn't really need the winter coat anymore, but it cooled down significantly today. In the low one-digits Celsius in the early afternoon downtown, in fact. The nights have been crystal clear lately.
 
It was -25 yesterday here. We are supposed to get 20 cms of snow today, but at least I don't live in Newfoundland, where they got hit with 75 cms.
 
How beautifully blue the sky,
the glass is rising very high,
continue fine I hope it may
and yet it rained but yesterday,
tomorrow it may pour again
I hear the country wants some rain,
yet people say - I know not why -
that we shall have a warm July...

 
It's been fairly crazy here. Our traditionally snowy peaks are bare, you only need a coat in the early morning rather than all day. It's been flat out hot in the afternoon. I'm fairly young, but it's weird to say, "back in my day we had real winters."
 
Less lovely this morning (when shoveling it) admittedly - and not because of the effort, it was a nice exercise plus meditation - but because it had become a wet mess and not the real thing at all.
It is what it is, I know.
