The Maiden Dilemma Thread

I was never the biggest fan of the song Aces High even when played live. Plus, the Trooper 1996 has some unique lyrics from Blaze. :funnypost:
I always find that curious because he is english. I think it was too fast for him, thats nicko fault. But i always tought that he had a strong english accent from birmingham lol

Would you rather be Bruce in 1993 going through the motions or be Blaze and have to sing HBTN, NOTB, and The Trooper?

I'll just answer them all.

#1 - Tough one, but I'd actually go with first disc of Book of Souls as much as it pains me to drop Hell on Earth.
#2 - Arena.
#3 - New studio album.
#4 - Two new albums, no more tours. I feel RFYL is a good one to end it on.
#5 - Bruce and Adrian remain in the band.
#6 - Bruce joins in 1981 then the band's done for good in 1990.
#7 - One year listening to everything except Maiden.
#8 - Maiden only plays songs from 1980-1992 for rest of career. (There's still options to switch in!)
#9 - Oof... erm, I'd actually go with Trooper 1996.
#10 - I'd be Bruce. I can half-ass the gig and still collect the paycheck. Seems like a deal!

--------------------

The band plays To Tame a Land next tour, but they never ever play Hallowed Be Thy Name live again -or-
The band plays Sea of Madness next tour, but they never ever play The Number of the Beast live again.

Option: The band plays Sea of Madness next tour, but they never ever play The Number of the Beast live again.

*

Revelations, Powerslave and The Rime of the Ancient Mariner being performed live (among other songs) from now until the end of their touring career.

Or

Afraid to Shoot Strangers, The Book of Souls and Sign of the Cross being performed live (among other songs) from now until the end of their touring career.

Damn, both To Tame A Land and Sea Of Madness are among my least favourite Maiden songs lol

The latter has a great solo/middle section, would disqualify TNOTB, which I've listened to far too often in my life already, and would keep Hallowed in the running. So, easy choice for Sea Of Madness over To Tame A Land.

Sea of madness has one of the heaviest riffs that maiden had wrote but then turns to an 80s soft song. To tame a land cool epic with good instrumental but i dont see bruce now singing it well
