Anyone in the UK have the 10" clear vinyl?

Right at the end of the trooper (well just after the singing stops), mine jumps and so misses a few seconds of the song becuase of it.  I have tried 4 copies and all of them do this, so not sure if it is my record player or a pressing problem with the record.

It also says 33rpm but actually needs to be played at 45rpm.

Anyone else have the skipping problem?

I have the 10" on order as of last week. When I get and I can then play it, I'll let you know.

Another 5 copies turned up today, all skip as well I'm afraid.  Looks like a problem on all of them

Mine doesn't skip during The Trooper at all, but it doesn during the first chorus of Run To The Hills and for a bit after that, only decided to give it a spin after seeing this thread

Yeah, mine is also wrong in that regard. Seems that quite a balls was made of this...

Could anyone please post two large pictures of both the front and back of the sleeve of this 10"?

Thank you.

A number of people mentioned this problem over at the Online Club and they got a response from a record shop guy who advised this often happens with odd formats or picture discs until they are run-in. He said people should play them a number of times and the skipping would go away, and apparently everyone who had had this problem over at the club found this solution worked.

Do you have a link to those postings?

I have tried it and nothing so far, but will persist.

Thanks for the advice
Phil

If the guy owns a record shop, he should have said that only his batch work and that he would trade his "good" ones for the "bad" ones along with an extra fee

Signed up for the online club now, which thread is it on though?  I can't find it by clicking on the link

I hope there won't be a problem with any of the album versions.  I mean,  it all started with Death On the Road dvd,  and now this.  Please let me be wrong.
