Check out www.rockinfortots.co.uk - we are in the process of organising a fundraising event for Simpsons Special Care Babies (link on our site) and we have a Run to the Hills biography signed by Paul Dianno, all of present members of Iron Maiden and Rod Smallwood. [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--] This will be put up for auction in the next couple of months so keep checking. There are other items to be auctioned so just keep checking.

The biography has just come back to Sanctuary Music after having been on tour with them!!

Thanks a lot - dont know if it was the extra publicity but the bids are starting to come in!! Good work!

Sorry to resurrect an ancient thread.

What are your opinions, is there reason or material to have the official Maiden biography updated to date? I mean, the last really interesting thing to happen to the band was the reunion with Bruce and Adrian. After that, the things got kind of calm, they went on tours, issued new albums, but is there anything of real substance to add to the biography?

I guess the book will have some new interesting things to say when the band will have decided to end the career.

Disclaimer: No, there are no rumours that the biography will be updated or reissued anytime soon, my question has nothing to do with it.
 
I am not buying in This bid business certainly has something to do with the people behind it. After all, it is not ice creams or chocolates that are sold here but books, which I am afraid is just as valuable as any other precious metals. I literally burstinto laughter when I heard the case of Adrian Smith. Yeah, sure, after all he has the insurance to buy in some more children for his army of darkness
