Poll: 2 Minutes to Midnight vs. The Wicker Man?

So which anthemic Maiden tune do you prefer and why?

2 Minutes.
They both have all time opening riffs but I give the edge to 2M.

Also the Wicker Man chorus is a bit clunky.

2MTM, just. I love the guitar solos on 2 minutes and on the Powerslave album generally.

The album version of 2 Minutes to Midnight is absolutely GREAT—no question. Same goes for The Wicker Man on the album, it’s a killer track. But I have to admit, I’ve always felt that 2 Minutes to Midnight doesn’t quite shine in a live setting. It just lacks some of the punch or tightness it has on the record. The Wicker Man, on the other hand, holds up pretty well live.

Still, I voted for 2 Minutes—because that studio version is just perfect.
