Hello everyone

I've been getting into my endurance excercise and have been LOVING running to Live After Death...just the best running album. As my runs have been getting longer, I've dropped in some of the killer trackes from Beast over Hammersmith, Rock in Rio and Death on the Road and making my 'ultimate Maiden Concert' ...and it's just phenomenal..

But I remember, years ago, live versions of Sanctuary and Murders in the Rue Morgue coming out from the Live After Death Sessions - and of all the live albumsd I think LAd has the best sound - crisp clear and driving, the others are a touch wooly and muddy.

Anyway, does anyone know where I can get these tracks, along with the the soundtrack of Maiden England?

I know exactly where you can find'em,
but as the ancient poet says:
"...the forum rules are strict,
and I'm not supposed to speak...
"

or if you want,
"The first rule of Fight Club is -
you do not talk about Fight Club.
The second rule of Fight Club is -
you DO NOT talk about Fight Club
"

anyway....wellcome !!
.....nice pseudo !

These tracks were bsides of the singles released in 1985. They've been re-released later (1990) when the singles themselves were re-released as the "first ten years". Finally the band made them available again in the boxset "Eddie's archives" in 2002. Good luck.

don't look at me, JackKnife I've read it....I even wrote some essays to make it bigger (Montsegur, Assassin and 2-3 more)

Thanks for the tips everyone, especially that the 'crucial' Murders in the Rue Morgue and Sanctuary tracks were re-released on CD.

Looking into it the Maiden england vieo release was accompanied by a CD, which isn't mentioned in the Commentary, so that could be an update.

Anyway, massively looking forward to updating my Maiden Ultimate Live Album and getting on some long runs to it...I'll have to get fit enough to be able to add a whole slew of tracks from the forthcoming live album - Brighter Than a Thousand Suns, Longest day best stuff in a looooooong time (or perhaps period)....

And in 1998 (2 disc sets) !

I had some old tapes of a gig in North London (maybe about 80 or 81) and it was from a Pub called The Torrington (Nth Finchley) or maybe The Duke of Lancaster (New Barnet). Well at least those were my 2 old stomping grounds (I did see Iron Maiden at The Ruskin Arms as well, but that is another story)

I flogged them on e bay for £95 !!! :yey: :yey: :yey:
