Wow. It never occurred to me to look and see if there was something on the net. I remember the BNW show at Camden, NJ. It was packed but some prick threw beer at Janick and Bruce went off. Long an behold, I found it. What clicked (to make sure I had the right audio) was the skinhead comment and the "we come to play music for ya, you (can't say it here)". Check this out.

I found the old classic when the guy spit on Steve at the concert. Even though the guys kept playing like champs you could see Blaze and Steve are pissed.

Of course, the YouTube comments are about people shitting on Blaze...but christ, I always thought he could sing the Trooper pretty fucking good! Fast lyrics are part of his specialty (Man on the Edge, Futureal, etc)

I was at that one. Maiden was the headliner for Monters of Rock that year, 45K people. King Diamond, Mercyful Fate (separately), Helloween, Motörhead and Skid Row. Maiden kicked off at around 12:30 AM, but the display was altered to make it look as if it were 11:58 PM. Epic.

And Blaze, oh man, he always sounded real pitchy on Trooper to me.
And on Bruce's rant, that was cool. He took the role of the hard ass rocker and played it great.
