Nicko McBrain

Nicko plays Sign Of The Cross well, Wild Wind and Greater Good are quite slow. Overall he plays more fills, still simplified though. I doubt he would want to record in the studio with Maiden, but let's see.

Apparently Wild Wind is his 2nd favorite song to play live.

He would love to play a few song,he said oit before. But i doubt maiden would have 2 drummers on the studio.
 
I didn't know that the Evening With Nicko tickets were released today. Pretty fast sell-outs in small spaces. The only couple of 2x2 spaces left wasn't even for single ticket buyers. Idiotic

Man I really don't want to travel to Stockholm hahahaha I'd almost rather buy 2x of those Copenhagen chain tickets. But that would require me actually knowing someone else in my vicinity who'd tag along to make it worthwhile

30 km to Copenhagen vs 600 km to Stockholm...

Really happy about When The Wild Wind Blows being played, one of my favorite songs. Setlist overall looks really nice, unfortunately too far away for me to attend any of his shows.

Playing live should be out of the question. I think it's clear that it was the travel in combination with playing that took a toll on Nicko. Unless they do a residency without back to back shows.

He quit from live shows. But in one of that tv channels with the ranks and other interviews. He said something like im not longer in the band nut now im part of the maiden family. He said it when he explained that steve told him not to play alexander and now he is not in the band and can play any song he wants.

He is still in the band, but has no voting power over the band decisions, as he resigned as a director. But his holdings company is still there.

Also, going by the records of the company, Rod has been retired since 2023 and is only the manager for PR matters.
