My band needs a new name, any ideas?

Rikstewart

Trooper
At the minute my band is called Lunatic Fringe, they had this name when i joined as lead guitarist last October, apparently it came from a comment made about the singers hair. Anyway, we are thinking of changing it because we think it sounds too punky or metal, which we aren't, we are mearly a pub covers band that plays a variety of classic rock, indie, mainstream stuff with the occasional blues or metal song depending on the crowd/venue. We aren't having that much luck in finding a new name that we can all agree on, basically there's me who is a massive Maiden fan, the singer/rhythm guitarist who is a huge Rush fan, the bass player who loves stuff like Slipknot and the drummer who appears to be stuck in 1985(the year he was born) and only listens to 80's stuff especially Def Leppard, so trying to please everyone is a fucking nightmare so if anyone has any serious suggestions then please feel free to post them, or any suggestions at all.
If anyone manages to pick a name that we go for then I'll make sure they get full credit on our websites and social networking sites, thanks in advance! :shred:

Def Maiden on a Slipknot Rush, OR Homer and the Simpsons

I'm being totally serious when I say this, but I have always wanted to start a band called the Ass Gaskets.  As I'm now an old married fart, and can't play an instrument, feel free to use it.  Hopefully it's not too punky for you.  But if you hit it big, I want free concert tickets.

Ha ha, some good suggestions here guys, I'm seeing the rest of the band tomorrow night so I'll show them and see what they think
