I'm Maidens set designer and I've been given your e-mail with your questions
in the hope that I will be able to answer them for you.
I'll tell you what I can.........
The "No More Lies" image was given to me by Steve.
It's something he had in his personal archive and was very keen to use it.
I have no idea who did the original though; I made a few technical
adjustments to the image in order to make it work in the stage situation.
I designed the "Paschendale" image.
We didn't have any imagery for the song at the time so it was just a sit and
talk it through with the band then I produced drawings for their approval
and the drape was painted. It's one of the rare occasions when we used a drape with no Eddie in the picture.
