Maiden songs with Stairway To Heaven progression

Mmm...Donuts

Trooper
I know The Legacy, Dance Of Death and Sign Of The Cross all use Stairway's formula, but are there other songs that use the same formula?

In my opinion, none of those Iron Maiden songs is related in any substantial way to "Stairway To Heaven". Perhaps it would help if you defined what you meant by "Stairway's formula".

At a guess I would say (judging by the inclusion of Dance of Death and The legacy) the way the song builds and then comes to and end. But I can't see this in Sign of the Cross.

I presume that the 'Stairway' progression would go something like this:

Intro (+ intro verse)
Bridge
Riff
Verse
Chorus
Bridge
Solo section
Post-solo bridge
Final chorus
Finale

In which case, then it is partially applicable to Harris-penned epics.
Or am I missing the mark?

Cut the guy some slack, I think it's pretty obvious what he means (soft/hard/soft song structure).
I think Maiden have a lot of songs in this style, including all of the ones from the new album :P

Yeah, Conor got it right. Just wondering which songs have the same progression as that since many maiden songs I practice in guitar are harris epics.
I didn't mean any relation, I just meant song structure Smile
