Do I really need to bother with spoilers now the tours over? No? Good.

The show was really fantastic, the band were on fire and the crowd were red hot too. I noticed from comments and video clips I've seen people weren't singing along to the new stuff much, but here it was screamed along with just as loudly as the classics. Highlights for me were Children of the Damned, The trooper, These colours don't run, Different world and The evil that men do. Bruce again mentioned touring next year with pyramids, and Churchill's speech and the like... :yey:

Clive got one of the loudest cheers of the night when he came on after hallowed, although he is looking a bit fragile these days. Poor bloke...

Also, some pictures!

A couple of the lovely Lauren Harris, who was again very entertaining. Nice and easy on the eyes too... :innocent:

And a couple of everyone's favourite Zombie mascot. The tank gets more awesome each time I see it.

Roll on Summer 2008! :yey:

I kept saying to myself, time and time again, try to get tickets for this show. But alas, I failed miserably and it just slipped my mind - until now. Nice pictures, thanks. :)

Great pics...thanks for sharing.

One day fans will be saying 'I wish they played stuff from A Matter of Life and Death', instead of The Trooper etc. Wait and see ha ha!

I love the new stuff BTW B)

So, now it's all over. A great tour for a great album. A great stage production that fit the theme perfectly. A great band which seemed to have jumped out of the fountain of youth.

Cheers boys, it's been great. See you next summer!

Damn!  I wish they continued touring in Europe through August for my benefit because I would have been around to see them.  :(

The boys do deserve a break though.

I wasn't going to go to this gig, but after going last week i couldn't stay away, and got a ticket off a bloke in the fan club. Getting there was an absolute trek, an uncomfortable 6 hours on the bus, then staying awake until 9 am for the 7 hour bus ride home. Staying awake was helped by getting sloshed with others in the Earls Court Ibis (again). ;) Completely worth it though! Was a great gig, and i was up the front for the first 5 songs, but as I have flu, and a badly bruised foot, I couldn't take any more and went and stood a bit further back. This also gave me licence to get beers.  :ok:

A word for the Indian support band too: awesome! By far the best support I've seen at a Maiden gig, sounded a bit AC/DCish. They started off with five people on stage, then halfway through the first song a Keyboardist ran on, hair flowing, then a chap on the bongos, then an electric-violinist! Catchy songs, good riffs, and the singer could really scream. They really put Lauren to shame, who came after them.

Cheers Maiden.
