I'm new around here.
I bought tickets a few weeks ago for my first Maiden show. I was kind of into Maiden back in the 80's, when I was in High School but for some reason it didn't stick. I don't really know why. It just didn't do it for me at the time.
Then, a few years ago I was home on a Friday night and the Rock in Rio concert was on VH-1, so I decided to check it out. I was blown away! I've been collecting albums since and have rounded out most of the catalog. I tried to get tickets for the Toronto show on the last tour and was shut out. That was the last stop on the "Flight 666" leg if you will. It sold out very quickly.
I've been waiting patiently ever since for Maiden to go out on the road again. I have tickets for the Cleveland show. Two days before the Cleveland show I catch Rush in Toronto as well. Quite a week for me! I get to see my three current favorite bands, including Dream Theater. In a mere 48 hour time, I get to see my 40th Rush show and my first Maiden one. I only wish the concerts were a bit more spread out to give me more time to look forward to them. They'll be over so quickly, but what a whirlwind!
I'm really hoping to hear Rime or Seventh Son on this tour. Either way, I'll love every minute of it. Can anyone direct me to a site that lists all of their set-lists over the years? I would love to look at the trends over the different tours. There is a great Rush website that does this, so hoping for a Maiden one.
