You said “metal” in the title, but you included Rush, so I have to ask — where the fuck is Boston...?

I only featured Rush because they're the grandfathers of prog metal, while Boston... but yeah, if there's the fill the blank category also.

I’m beginning to find that debuts aren’t often my favorites. I’ve not listened to every album here but of the ones I have, they’re kinda spotty. I’m going for Black Sabbath, which is actually a really cool album, and Seven Churches, which, while it has some low points, the good songs outweigh the bad and it’s one of metal’s most memorable debuts.

For me the best debut album ever is Iron Maiden.

The debut album of W.A.S.P. is also great and of course, Holy Diver is an eternal classic and one of the best albums ever.

Welcome to hell
Iron maiden
Bonded by blood
Kill’em all
Too fast for love
Van halen
To mega therion (Morbid tales was an EP)
