Dave's style on AMOLAD

I noticed that Dave seems to have adopted a different style on AMOLAD. Especialy on tunes like Out of the Shadows, ben breeg and longest day. It might be the production but his style and tone seems to be alot different than other albums. Am I just going crazy or have others heard this too?

I kind of understand what you mean. He always had a bit of a rocker in him, especially when writing songs, but I think he's slightly more tight and downplayed this time (in a good sense). still, it's not a big difference =)

yes im thinking it is a production thing because it seems that he is back to normal on the 2 new songs.
