Alter Bridge / Tremonti

Myles about his jazz background, guitar solos, a lot of inspiration for lyrics, singing with conviction, the U.S. Election cycle, not making a political record, the power of music, optimism, Poison In Your Veins, carte blanche from their audience, staying true to themselves, his upcoming solo record.

Some very interesting piece of news, coming from Mark Tremonti:

"We’re touring through the end of the year but we’ve got a big project going on – in October we’re playing with a 52-piece orchestra at Royal Albert Hall [in London] for two nights and we’re gonna’ film that and make it a DVD. We’re really excited about it."

I know what I want for my birthday. :D

They need to play Fortress and Calm The Fire there. Blackbird is a given. I also think The End Is Here would be epic with an orchestra.

@Ariana the shows are on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd October. £60 for a standing ticket and £50 or £85 for a seating ticket.

I'm debating with myself if I should go to this. I don't know Alter Bridge massively well, but there's plenty of time to catch up on them.

Do it. AB are an amazing live band. Even if you aren't fluent in all their material it's going to be worth it.

Do it! It doesn't look like I could make it, though.
