A private unofficial secret facebook group for wanting FTTB

DeadlySins

Invader
Why is there an unofficial, private Facebook group where people can add themselves to a waiting list or submit requests for FTTB? Why do people get angry, upset, or bitter if this unofficial private secret facebook group is discussed openly? Why have a unofficial private secret facebook group and not having it official? Shouldn't the terms for requesting FTTB be the same for everyone, or is one group supposed to have an advantage increasing their chances by using the private group instead of the official IMFC forum?

Who made Gerogia Machaira boss over FTTB at a unofficial private facebook group can't be gound on google search?
When you sign up for FTTB and pay $36 there is nowhere to befind on FTTB "rules" about a private secret facebook group wanting FTTB

Why they hiding it, keep it secret for everyone else?

I ask simple questions, they get pissed off... how is this same terms fair for eveyone not knowing that FB group they can't increase their chanses for FTTB be on wantinglst for FTTB or trade FTTB?

I ask very simple questions, try to answer them like adults without picking fights

Is this not a case of when you win FTTP you are allowed a plus one, and sometimes people who are on their own will then have a spare plus one?

Yes, if you win FTTB, you are allowed to bring me as plus one

Or you can trade your spare for another show with my spare for that show, that means you and me could be at FTTB for 2 shows instead of one!

And what i heard, there are people at the meet up have a spare plus one at the venue

But you only know the meet up place location if you have buddies telling you that, which is sent out by email

Those begging for FTTB at the unofficial private facebook group are "regulars" had FTTB multitimes

More people you know bigger chances is you will get FTTB by someone, or somebody is recommended you as plus one

But why have a unofficial private fb group can't be found on google, like they are hiding it for everyone else?

I was banned from the forum, only becouse i had wrong opinions according to the mods

If anyone still there, can you see if my posts is still there, or they are removed, or if they talk about my ban?

This is from the Los Angeles meet up thread, i was posting information why Megadeth VIP got early entrance to the venue

What exactly are you complaining about? That people who win FTTB want to bring friends instead of strangers as their plus one?

Im complaining about

They have a unofficial private facebook group hidden for everyone else, compete out the wanting list on IMFC forum

Same regulars are having FTTB multitimes with new rules

It should be on same terms, fair and square

With a unofficial private facebook group you can beg for FTTB it isn't on same terms for everybody, many dosen't know that facebook group exsist! How is that fiar for eveyone else?

I complained that 15 people are on "wanting list" for LA shows on the FB group, mean while 2 people was asking for FTTB on IMFC forum, then i was picked on?

Those at that unoffical private facebook group increae their chanses having FTTB more than everyone at IMFC forum

Why having it unofficial, why having it private, why hide it?

I can see same people having FTTB multitimes with Iron Maidens own footage and videos!

So sign up for the group?
Why not having only one official wanting list request for shows you are attending at the Official Iron Maiden forum, why a unofficial one?

Many probably not know that facebook group exsists, becouse you are not allowed to talk about it on the IMFC forum?

Who made Gerogia Machaira boss over FTTB at a unofficial private facebook group?

People can start whatever group they want. This isn't illegal.

FTTB is on same terms for everyone. Every fanclub member with a GA ticket can enter the FTTB ballot and all winners get to choose one friend to take with them. Of course fans who have attended 10-20 shows every tour since the beginning of time know a lot of people and will have a good chance of being someones plus one.

Maybe they should make a limit for how many times everyone can win. Say once every tour? That might introduce new faces to the barrier.

Never said it isn't illigal

But they started it having benefits over the IMFC forum

I see people getting their FTTB added on their wanting lists and requests, i don't see nobody having FTTB on their wanting list on the IMFC forum

Every fanclub member can enter the FTT ballot... but not every fanclub members are members of the unofficial private hidden facebook group can't increase their chances like the other people on that group right?

I seen one guy having over 20 FTTB for both Europe North America this tour. That guy must know many people giving their spares to that guy?

And it's obvious they have a ranking system over the FTTB at each gig every country

Why would a nobody with no friends in the IMFC network have a FTTB asking for it when you can yive your FTTB to your buddy instead?

So, sign up or don't. The end.
And to everyone that dosen't know the facebook group excists, dosen't use facebook at all?

Becouse it's obvious they are trying to hide it from public

You can't find it anywhere on the official IMFC forum, is that on same terms? Dosen't that FB makes them have advantage over everyone else outside that FB?

Do you think, those people that beg for FTTB on the FB group, and got their beloved wristbands, are same guys that would have the wristband asking for it at the IMFC forum? Probably not!

I almost forgot

On the IMFC Magazine online, they have a "FTTB Guide" what to do, nothing about a unofficial private hidden facebook group with wantinglist and request is not mentioned on that "guide" why?

They have my envy.
But they could use the wanting list and request at the IMFC forum

But the FB group is obviously better organized

If you ask for a FTTB at the IMFC forum you hardly been noticed, if you beg for FTTB on the FB group you can do it with images and be noticed

And the FB is probably more active than the IMFC forum beggin for FTTBs

Big difference

This is ridiculous. What about private chats between groups of FC members who are friends- should those be policed as well? What if people are in a private WhatsApp asking for spares? How is a facebook group any different?

People hang way too much of their enjoyment on FTTB. If you win, great- enjoy it! If you don't, ask around and you may get lucky- I have found people with spares via this forum, the official forum, and just... showing up in line and making friends.

It doesn't have anything to do with the fanclub. People can do whatever they want on Facebook.

Because people want to choose their friends, not random weirdos.

Yes, only ridicolous a private person creating her own unofficial private fb group so her and her friends can add wantinglists and trade FTTB outside from official IMFC

All IMFC members are not on the FB group so it's never on same terms!

If you have a spare to give out to somebody, would you give it to a nobody with zero friends or somebody has 100 friends at the FB group?

So essentially what you're saying is that the IMFC needs to regulate how individual people pick their plus ones? That's completely asinine.

Just go to the gigs, have fun, and MAKE FRIENDS WITH PEOPLE. You catch more flies with honey...

All that has happened is this...

IMFC probably had an idealised version in their head that the FTTB winner brings a pal and the two rock out

What has happened instead is the 'plus one' has created a barter black market of trading spare places

The law of demand and supply asserted itself, as it does when there is a scarcity (eg the fabled trading of cigarettes in prisons). I agree that the entitled FTTB crowd are nauseating, but there is no way IMFC can police the 'plus one' or 'swapping shows' barter market. I've had super FTTB experiences like Newcastle 2016 and Brisbane 2024 but there are plenty of annoyances with the way fans redistribute it for sure.
