Working on my PHD in Maiden
The reverse of MrKnickerbocker's thread. Challenging because it makes you say negative stuff about Maiden. Could generate controversy! Here's mine:

1-Virtual XI: Angel & Gambler, Como Estas Amigos, Educated Fool
2-X Factor: 2 AM, Aftermath, 4 Choons of War
3-No Prayer for the Dying: Hooks in You, Run Silent Run Deep, Holy Smoke
4-Fear of the Dark: Weekend Warrior, Wasting Love, Apparition
(Here's where it got tough)
5-Iron Maiden: Strange World, Charlotte the Harlot, Remember Tomorrow
 
First of all I love Maiden..have done for 20 plus years, but I'm not some teenage fan boy who thinks everything they touch turns to gold! All great bands have spotty periods. My opinion, take it or leave it. Here we go:

1. Virtual XI: Futureal, AATG, CEA
2. AMOLAD: Different World, FTGGOG, TP.
3. No Prayer: PEN#1, Holy Smoke, sounds like Status Quo, BYDTTS.
4. X Factor: Lord of the Flies, Fortunes of War is hideous, Man on the Edge.
5. TFF: WTWB, Talisman, Eldorado

1. SSOASS: Infinite Dreams , Title Track, the Clairvoyant
2. Powerslave: Rime of the Ancient Mariner (yawn) , Aces High, Powerslave
3. SIT: Stranger in a Strange Land (isn't Adrian's solo just TERRIBLE?), Sea of Madness, Alexander the Great, (Stranger was bad enough, now 4 shitty Adrian solos again in a ROW?)
4. NOTB: Hallowed be thy Name (so overrated and mainstream)....this song makes the album suck enough on its own.
5. Iron Maiden: Phantom of the Opera , Transylvania, Iron Maiden

At least the last one doesn't have Adrian Smith. I don't know why they even let that guy into the band.

Yeah, this is some of the decent stuff they put out after Paul Day left. Still, it's few and far between.
