Most of the World Slavery bootlegs that I heard yet aren't of a good sound quality, and I wonder if there are actually soundboard recordings existing.
What are the best quality recordings from 1984/85? (Except for Rock In Rio)
And are there any videos existing? I don't know any. Well, except for...
I love Genghis Khan, especially for the mid-tempo part, but I voted the Ides Of March because it was the very first Maiden song I ever heard, back in 1985 as a kid.
Killers is definitely among my top Maiden albums and it's so much more than just a leftover kind of thing. One of the rare Maiden albums that seems to be not influenced much by marketing decisions or other calculations. The door was already opened (by the debut) while international marketing...
That was the exact mistake I did with my own sons, now 17 and 20. I believed waiting would gain appreciation. Turned out to be a total error calculation. Theo (17) is into some sort of gangsta rap, Glenn (20) doesn't listen to music at all. The point they would both commonly agree with each...
My nephew Woody ist turning four next month. For his third bday last year he got the Powerslave Tee gifted by me, and this year I wanna get him his first ever Iron Maiden album for his bday (on CD). Which one would you all recommend to be a proper Maiden album gift for someone's fourth birthday...
Ecuador for me. Been there in 1999 and it was absolutely beautiful, more beautiful than Colombia where I also went to. But Ecuador changed from the once safest country in South America to now the most dangerous.
I noticed a very interesting thing when it comes to returning a shirt due to size issues, dislikes or whatever. Brexit made the returning extremely expensive. From Germany to the UK a shirt retoure would cost me ridiculous 26 Euros - which is more than half price of the shirt itself.
The exact...
Can we expect those bands like Megadeth and Anthrax doing longer gigs than usual support bands do? I mean, those bands are of a heavier weight than e.g. Powerwolf or The Raven Age are. Would be a pity if they were nailed to do somewhat of a 40-minutes-set. And they are announced being "very...
Really happy to see Megadeth again, Hannover. They did a great job opening for Maiden in 1999 (Hamburg), and I also saw Anthrax opening for Maiden in 1990 which was also superb, however, Megadeth were even better.
When I have a bad day I usually don't listen to Maiden. I keep them to have everything about them connected with pure positive spirits. They're too important and too long lasting (in general, and also in my personal life yet) to throw them in a pot together with any kind of negative emotions...
I think it's not boring, but they didn't do themselves a favour by having played it live. It didn't work, and that was mainly because of Bruce.
No More Lies and The Clansman are both very boring IMHO. They both have interesting intros, but the rest is a whole yawn fest.
