Seventh Son of a Seventh Son: Full Concept Album?

I just think it's a great fuckin album

Raising Hell vs. Live After Death

IMO there is simply no comparison. Seeing how I originally bought (and still have) LAD on vinyl, and with even the band looking bored on RH, LAD wins by a landslide. A much better setlist and no cheesy magic acts

    Question about NO PRAYER album

I'm sure the first album that someone listens to has some effect on what period of Maiden certain people like, but not always. Fortunately, or unfortunately if you consider my age, I was around when the first Maiden album was released but at the time I wasn't all that impressed. It wasn't until...

    Maiden England Tour 2012/2013!

No I won't be pissing myself with excitement when they start FotD ( unless I've had too many beers )but that song is a hell of a lot better live than it was as a studio recording. Yeah Maiden plays some of the same sons every tour but name me a band with any longevity who doesn't. If you go see...

    Maiden England Tour 2012/2013!

Having seen the original SSOASS tour I'm here to tell you that when they kick into 7th Son you're going to freak. I know I will

    Maiden England Tour 2012/2013!

Demigod.. I was at both Chicago shows in 2008 and 2010 and you're ri are right, the Allstate arena show was incredible. I can't remeber if the 2010 show was sold out, but there was a pretty big crowd there and I thought it sounded pretty good. Glad to here you got tickets although I won't be...

    Maiden England Tour 2012/2013!

I just checked the Live Nation website and it's showing that their are only 135 tickets left in the pavillion for thr Indy show and it seats 6,000. No idea how many tickets have been bought for the lawn, but that's not too bad considering that when Maiden played Indy on the original SSOASS tour...

    Question about NO PRAYER album

IMO Running Free is the most complex Maiden song

    Question about NO PRAYER album

Why do some of the posters contend that SSOASS wasn't a success in America? It was certified platinum which means it sold at least 1 million copies so just what do you consider to be a success? As far as NPFTD goes, I hate the production of it and some of the material is weak, but it's a HELL of...

Iron Maiden 8-Track Tapes - I Want to Know!

Hell yes I remember 8 tracks! Always hated how it would fade out in the middle of a song and the CLICLK!!! a slow fade back into the song. My car had an 8 track player in it and I actually had an 8 track adapter that allowed me to play cassettes. Oh those were the days

Wow, was it really 30 years ago TNotB Came out?

Can't believe it's been that long ago. I was also 15 when this came out and I bought it and was immediately blown away with the back to back salvo of Children of the Damned/The Prisoner. 30 years....damn I'm getting old!

    Most memorable Maiden concert moments

I've seen Maiden 7 times so far (Somewhere in Time tour was my first) and thhe thing I always remember is the Maiden fans from different cities that I get to meet and talk with. I've met fans from all over the U.S. and it's as if we're all members in a secret and exclusive club. I've seen other...

Maiden's "surprise" for the upcoming tour.

I'd love to hear some of TFF songs played that they didn't play over here. I'm expecting and excited at the probability that they'll be playing SSOASS and Infinite Dreams. Holding out hope for Still Life since I've never seen them play it live.

    Maiden England Tour 2012/2013!

Got my tix for the Indy show. The lower pavillion was pretty much sold out so I got lawn seats. For some reason the sound if you're sitting in the upper pavillion sucks( at least it sounds that way to me) so I'll just party on the grass.

    Maiden England Tour 2012/2013!

Maybe your're right and I'm wrong and us Maiden fans in the U.S. are spoiled. All Iknow for sure is that on the upcoming tour they're playing Indy for just the second time since 1988 and it's only about a 40 mile drive for me so I'm as happy as a pig in shit! Hope fully they'll play some place...

    Maiden England Tour 2012/2013!

No the U.S. hasn't fared bad. But just like everybody doesn't live in London, not everybody over here lives in New York, Boston, Chicago, or L.A. I saw 5 of the tours you listed and had to go to Chicago to see 4 of them. Not complaining, Maiden is well worth the road trip. I'm sure if you...

    Maiden England Tour 2012/2013!

Yes Maiden tour here but they don't do a lot of shows. DOD tour played on New York City and L.A. AMOLAD tour played 8 cities. TFF played 12 cities I believe. The Maiden England tour will be their biggest tour of America since Ozzfest. They're playing Indy for the first time since Ozzfest in...
