Hmm I like this song but can't objectively rate it any higher than a 5.

Both the X-Factor and Virtual XI obviously both suffer from bad production. In the X-Factor's case, I feel like it adds to the surreal atmosphere of the album even though it isn't great and think the songs have more oomph and energy live. But on Virtual XI it's just bad and drags the album down...

I like Blaze doing his own songs more than with Bruce. Not that Bruce really sings any Blaze songs anyway besides Lord of the Flies, Futureal, Clansman, and Sign of the Cross.

I don't think it's much of an issue that a lot of their songs are in the same key because with equal temperament the listner doesn't perceive any difference anyway. I think it's more the lack of modulation that can lead to certain songs sounding stale. Like a lot of the stuff from the newer...

Such a great Maiden deep cut. The bass is so fat, it's one of my favorite Steve Harris tracks. Great chorus too

I saw a new Maiden beer in the liquour store today and was tempted to buy it. My sense of pride stopped me from falling prey to a marketing gimmick, as if it didn't have a Maiden label would I really care about it? ....I might try it eventually. :p

I never understood the hate for Gangland. Most Maiden fans seem to hate it. The only thing wrong with it for me is the unfinished solo section, I don't know what happened there, it would've made an already great song even better. I think Invaders is way more corny and cringeworthy.

I agree they don't really like to modulate much which sounds stale after a while, but I'm not sure what you mean by "chord based arrangements". Unless it's a joke that's going over my head.

I wouldn't mind another instrumental track like Losfer Words.
