They will play some arenas (same as this time, I can't see them opening a tour in a stadium) but I guess stadiums will remain. The Book of Souls tour moved a lot more tickets than the Maiden England Tour, for example. Actually, from a certain point of view album tours have an even higher chance...

They have more lights on the sides now, so you notice it less. But it still does not look good when it comes to big stadiums. They could just add fire machines and whatever on the sides (below the screens) to make things more immersive.

Depend on the context of the tour, but I guess they will stick to stadiums. Just imagine how many back to back nights they would have to do now.

According to an Italian group, the festival in florence is out of discussions because it's owned by a different promoter (although they played it there in 2018)

Back on topic, apparently Ticketcorner has Maiden on their ticket alerts (according to some people, I can't find them there). Interlaken? Might clash with other festivals. Don't think they will attempt Letizground despite having selling out Hallestadion in minutes.

So 90% of the entire Future Past tour was less succesful than Athens 2022? If you play a 40k stadium (because the capacity was never going to be 70k anyway) and draw a crowd of 26k, the show sold poorly. Sad to say, but that's what it is. And I guees it came as a surprise for the band as well...

It has nothing to do with other shows. The rest was sold out, or the venues were much smaller. A big stadium costs a lot more than an arena. Proof to that is that they are yet to come back after that show.

They did sell out the place in 2019, I seem to remember. The boxscore for that show (and many others in that tour) was total rubbish

The thing is that only good packages sell out stadiums in NA. Maiden are probably too stubborn to do a co-headline tour, probably they won't even bring a big special guest there.
