It is really a problem. I know some German fans who are conflicted, already have Wacken tickets but would have bought Maiden tickets for Berlin. You can also find similar comments on the Wacken Facebook page. Hard to understand why they want to play in Germany when Wacken starts.

A brief tour that goes from “Fear of the Dark” to the Present? Or should the second half of their career be completely swept under the rug? Both would be very stupid messages and I would never recommend this to a band that has had a successful second half of their career too.

If somebody still needs a ticket: There are a lot of tickets available for Berlin II (30 Jul). It does not seem to sell that fast. I wonder why they decided to tour Germany when Wacken takes place. This is a fixed event every year for many German metalheads, even if they like Iron Maiden.

I can't really figure out why it is the “Run For Your Lives” tour. Iron Maiden tours have always had creative, but fitting and easy to interpret titles: “Future Past. Legacy of the Beast”... The best explanation I read so far is Azaz's: It's actually the “Run from your Wifes” tour. :bigsmile:

When you ask pop fans why they think what they saw was such a huge show you will always find out that what the dancers did was a big part of it. And that is not applicable to Maiden.

Sure, Maiden will take a break in the year of their anniversary. Maybe he should have a word with Bruce who already confirmed Maiden shows in 2025.
