    Epica

Yeah, I had read good reviews of both and decided to take a chance with Thousand Lakes.  :)

    Epica

I have Tales From The Thousand Lakes. A real classic. I haven't heard any of their other albums, but I have heard a lot of great reviews of their latest release 'Eclipse' (didn't they shift from death metal to atmospheric rock/Metal?) . Ill definitely check out their new one when it releases.

    Immortal

I had heard a lot about Immortal and decided to download one of their albums - 'Sons Of Northern Darkness'. Not my favourite album - i deleted it a few days later  :P. That was my first real black metal album and I was quite dissapointed. It kind of put me off the genre but later I downloaded an...

    Iced Earth

Well, the video was pretty painful to watch. Even if it was on a low budget, they could have shot it way better than that. I agree with Raven, You can't make out much of the story. And @ LooseCannon, I also got the distinct impression that there was much more of Schaffer than of Ripper.

    Iced Earth

If anyone is really desperate to hear the new songs without voice overs there are two I found on the net. I'm still reserving judgment on Framing Armageddon until it comes out officially (or if there is a decent leak  :P )

    Long Songs

I doubt it. At least in my city. There is like one shop in the whole city where I might get it. I saw a Deicide album there a few weeks back.  So there is still some hope for lesser known metal bands in India  B)

    Long Songs

I downloaded that album a few days back, haven't listened to it too well though. But my initial impression was that it was pretty good.  :)  Not that I have much experience with this sub genre, my only other album of this sort being After Forever's  "Decipher".

    Iced Earth

Re: New Iced Earth Album The album sounded ok but it was hard to tell because of the voice overs.  And I agree with LooseCannon, torrents are a heaven send for those of us in countries where finding a decent metal CD is an ordeal.

No I found it on the internet. You wouldn't have the remotest chance of getting it on cd and definitely not on vinyl here in India.

I love Warlord too . And The Cannons Of Destruction Have Begun Is a great album. I had a hell of a time finding it but it was worth it. I also have their newer album with the Hammerfall singer although I haven't listened to it too much.

Insert Quote Once upon the Midnight Strangler's wife ran a giant hamster.  Horrified by events during masturbation, he accidentally the cup 'Manowar' overturned.  Then, unbeknown to JoeyDeMaio, Gandhi burst his nephew. Word, yo momma (she so truemetalwarriorofsteel) lifted the curse from her...
