I'm going to bet it is and really, I hope so.
I honestly don't see how they will top this and if they did make another, it would be at least three years from now. I can't see Bruce doing this for very much longer.
Re: TFF is hands down the best modern Maiden album
Yes.
Why are you being so piffy about the threads lately?
Besides, this thread is unique in it's proclamation.
EDIT: I'm being funny by saying you're piffy, BTW.
Re: TFF is hands down the best modern Maiden album
I got into Maiden in 86 with SiT. I then bought SSOASS. Then I went backwards, all the way down. Right before I bought NPFTD, I was listening to SiT again.
I can't tell you how much NPFTD pissed me off when I first heard it. Today, it still...
Re: TFF is hands down the best modern Maiden album
Its cool. :edmetal:

This is the way I see it...at least IM gives Janick a chance to do nutty things with his guitar because you really don't need three guitarists for it anyway.
Now you're on to something....
The Man Who Would Be King
I think the trick behind Wild Wind is the tongue-in-cheek feel of it. It's a sad story but Bruce's delivery along with everything else suggest Maiden is telling a story with a "wanna hear how moronic these people are" attitude. I dig it. I'm relieved that the album...
Cannon suggested there is alot of VXI in this album. At first, I wasn't buying it....but when I listened to it with Virtual in mind, he was dead right.
