Who was auditioned to replace Blaze?

Yepp. Right place right time. Blaze first declined the offer, he probably thought Wolfsbane had a change. With Maiden he made a wise carrier decision at the time.

Who was auditioned to replace Blaze?

To my knowledge the reunion was basically a done deal by mid november 1998 while Maiden was playing Japan. At this point Janick and Nico was also told. Dave probably knew early on. After that Steve went home, met with Bruce in late november and then went to South America to finish off VXI tour...

Who was auditioned to replace Blaze?

Warrant did a reunion tour with Jane Lane in 2008 but quickly replaced him with a new singer instead of going back to Jamie St James. Something along those lines, if anything. Just like with Blaze, James didnt work anyway.

Gotta be Austin as the director?

What are your top five favorite live song recordings by Maiden?

    5. Moonchild from Flight 666. This version is (to me) so exciting, much thanks to not using a pre-recorded intro which they did on the 1988 and 2014 tours. What a terrific song to kick of the encore with! 4. Rime of the Ancient Mariner from Flight 666. I think the triple guitar line-up really...

What are your top five favorite live song recordings by Maiden?

What officially recorded and released (no bootlegs, only songs from live albums, best of albums and b-sides count!) Maiden songs would be on your top five ranking?

    Blaze vocal performance

Definitely had the talent. Didn't put in the work preparing himself for the live part back in 1993-1994. His contribution to the officially released live material (the b-sides Man on the Edge, Blood on the World's Hand's, The Aftermath, The Evil that Men Do, and the best of track Afraid to Shoot...

    Blaze vocal performance

In his book At The End of The Day, he cited lack of rehearsal before touring as one reason. They only rehearsed for about a week before The X Factor. This does not explain forgetting lyrics four months in to touring though. The even bigger problem was the fact that he was technically...

Who was auditioned to replace Blaze?

I remember everyone saying this exact same thing about Accept back in 2009. If the best material from Virtual XI and Brave New World was combined into one album, Adrian staying throughout the 90's (and therefore further improving the quality of the material) and with Blaze focusing more on...

    Saxon

Not true. This is from the press release: "Hell, Fire And Damnation is an album which sees SAXON investigate all areas of history and mystery amidst ten of their most confident and thunderously powerful songs yet. (...) The guitars of Doug Scarratt and Brian Tatler are fresh and fiery, a perfect...

    The Future Past Tour 2024

Listening to a professionally recorded live rendition of this song serves as a poignant reminder of the vast reservoir of outstanding material that still lacks the finesse of a live performance capture. Noteworthy tracks such as Caught Somewhere in Time, Alexander the Great, Fortunes of War, The...

    The Future Past Tour 2024

If I remember it correctly Tate has done 25th Anniversary, 30th Anniversary and now 35th Anniversary of OM in Europe! Not sure if any of them reached the US. He does the Big Rock show concept there. I bought meet and greet + show ticket for just over 70 € here in Sweden!
