RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

they always make a balance. even in the the last tour which have the most challenging stuff: there were classics (trooper, wasted), there were epics (celts, hell), there were deep cuts (caught, stranger, alexander) and there were these concert songs that pump up the tempo or make crowds sing...

Maiden songs everybody seems to like but you dislike?

I remember Nicko admitting that the Wasting Love was a comprise, sth to jump into that metal ballads vagon at the time, with Dont Cry's, Unforgiven's, Still Loving You's etc... But I think it's a good song with a decent message. Not a song like other childish love songs like Don't Cry. And it's...

Ever wanted a piece of Ed Force One?

btw i didn't know that the names of the fan club members at the time was written on the plane. my friend just sent me this reddit topic, and you can download the photo in HD (the second photo) and check whether your name is on it or not. Unfortunately this is the half of it, the other half must...

I wish it was for a charity campaign... This way it looks like a Gene Simmons-esque idea!

These colours don’t run. Bruce said this during that concert, showing the British flag and just one year later they did a song. Cant be coincidence.

    News Burning Ambition Documentary

Of course, the most interesting parts from a documentarian's perspective happened in the 80s. The 90s are also interesting, with the emergence of grunge, the decline of metal and separation and the obvious reunion. There's a lot of story material here. But I don't know how deep they'll dive...

Yeap, Pat Cash! Also Slaven Bilic can be a nice guest. Not that famous but he can make a good similarity between Maiden and sports. And West Ham too.

    News Burning Ambition Documentary

It will be cool to see Javier Bardem but they must add some more celebrities to this doc like him. Lady Gaga, Frank Turner, Michael Fassbender, Jason Momoa?.. Especially from other fields than music would be nice to see. There was a tennis player whom Adrian played against, forgot his name. ...

    News 18th Studio Album discussion

Like you said, Maiden's music may seem formulaic too, but when you dive in to the stuff or scrape thing a little, you can see that they try to explore different styles. People tend to say the same thing to Maiden even in the 80's, even though they drastically changed after Killers and tried...

udo's music is too formulaic. i love him, i especially loved his steel factory album from the recent ones. but it's hard to even separate one album to another. he never disappoints but he is not making really unforgettable albums too. i wish he gives some creative control to peter baltes on the...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

his costume and goggles in Past Future Tours seemed to be inspired from Dune, I thought. probably he thought during the Somewhere In Time album Blade Runner was the thing and he wore a costume resembling that. And now he got sth resembling Dune. yet there was no to tame a land...

    News 18th Studio Album discussion

Even younger bands are now releasing albums at longer intervals. Take Volbeat, their new album will be released after 4 years from the previous one and no-one thinks this is abnormal. Very young and commercially extremely successful pop-rap musicians who have an army of song writers, producers...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

let's think of a all hits / crowd pleasers but no surprises setlist, than it will these: iron maden, fear of the dark, number of the beast, run to the hills, hallowed be thy name, running free, wrathchild, trooper, aces high, two minutes to midnight, wasted years, bring your daughter, can i...

Maiden songs everybody seems to like but you dislike?

I have a love&hate relationship with Can I Play With Madness. It's the first song I've heard from Maiden, cause I was a pop music fan (A-ha, Duran Duran, Madonna etc) at the time and that song entered Top 10, and so I heard it, loved the song and the video, give a chance to listen to Seventh Son...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

it's impossible to fit this period into one setlist with 15 songs, so the only way to please the dieahard fans (to a point) is to rotate some songs, at least 2 or 3. "all hits" setlist won't please anyone (maybe the festival goers only). so there must be some deep cuts.

nice to see that the Shadow of the Gods will be added. (somehow it's interesting that he announced this before hand.)

    Blaze Bayley

Always loving Blaze with Maiden setlists but I also wanna see him more with his own solo and with Wolfsbane in a proper tour. Wolfsbane Save the World album is so underrated. And it's not on streaming platforms, I don't get it. It's as good as the early Wolfsbane albums.
