Some of my favorite songs are among those never played live: Isle of Avalon, Starblind, Montsegur, and The Nomad would top the list. But I'd also enjoy AtG, Deja Vu, Judgement of Heaven, Gates of Tomorrow, The Man Who Would be King, Shadows of the Valley. And that doesn't even include the rest...

I keep listening to the second half of this album when I exercise and this song just keeps rising up as one of my favorites. No small feat, as the back half of this album are all gems. The intro is hauntingly bittersweet, the verses are punchy and catchy with Nicko doing nice work on the ride...

Arrgghh looks like Still Life is on it's way out. That's my favorite remaining PoM song on this list. My actual favorite from the album is already gone (Die With Your Boots On). From now on I'm all about keeping all Somewhere in Time songs.

I enjoyed the hell out of that however I am very biased, Caught Somewhere in Time is the song that first made me an Iron Maiden fan. It might not be my overall favorite song by the band - though it's certainly top 5 - however to this day it's my favorite song on my favorite IM album.

I'm still loving this album and keeping it in heavy rotation (especially disc 2). Along with Somewhere in Time & Piece of Mind it rounds out my top 3 favorites by the band.

In my case it's a healthy dose of wishful thinking. Also having just spent years playing SotC and Clansman, if they wanted to do a Blaze-era song on the next tour Futureal would be a logical choice. A short rocker that the fans would love and would give them a break between all of the longer...

I had tickets to yesterday's show in Newark but couldn't go for personal / family reasons and had to sell them. So I am still 35 years since seeing them live (1987). The Senjutsu / SiT tour can't happen fast enough for me.
