I don't think they'd do it for this tour either, but Rime of the Ancient Mariner is definitely a song that I could see being one of the teased "selling points" and "centerpieces" for the next tour, whatever that'll be. I mean, it's certainly a song that could still have one more run ahead of it...

As a slightly more serious note, I think Bruce has expressed that he would've liked to go all-out with the Seventh Son thing back then, with a comic book or something alongside the album, so... As the upcoming record will apparently be, to some extent, somewhat conceptual, I wonder...

The Edge of Darkness

To be honest, I'd rather not see Alexander that late in the set. It would work, yes, but I have a gut feeling that it would sound a lot more energetic and intense earlier on... Just like Aces High. :D

As the running order of the set is talked above... I'm surprised at how many people have predicted Alexander the Great to be featured in the encore. Don't get me wrong, it would sure be an exciting encore opener, but I doubt such complex and, in a way, demanding song would be placed there. Yes...

To be fair, seems completely believable that there definitely were that many questions of it. :D Of course Bruce intentionally picked all those for the sake of a joke, but anyway, I can definitely believe that a lot of people asked that indeed.

I can see the appeal people see with the idea of the... well, "chorus" being repeated in this song and how the whole song sort of peaks very early on, but the video above actually demonstrates very well why that part only makes a single appearance in the song: a repeat doesn't really fit...

Yeah, both shows were definitely great! The biggest difference was that Bruce talked a lot less in the second show (and the speech before FTGGOG got dropped there) and he sounded just a tad bit more tired, e.g not holding notes quite as long etc. That, however, tells more about his absolutely...
