It’s such a shame that we didn’t get to see Bruce sing this song with Maiden when he was at the peak of his vocal power. This is such a great vocal performance.

Dance of Death. I really like Book of Souls but I would never put on disc 2 if it wasn’t for Shadow of the Valley. Dance of Death has lots of variety and it keeps my attention all the way through.

They are just setting up Maiden now. Deftones were a chore to sit through. Went to watch a bit of Megadeth instead.

I wore this VHS to death before upgrading to DVD. Still my favourite Maiden album. The only thing that bums me out is that the DVD does not have a 2.0 mix.

I’m getting pumped now. My first Maiden gig was Reading 05 and I have never seen them at another festival until this Download.

If I were in his position, I wouldn’t play much outside of Maiden! He obviously gets his creative fix from the band and chooses peruse other hobbies. Not everyone can be as into writing/projects as Bruce, Steve and Adrian.

I miss how heavy the song was from that era. The Rock in Rio version is so good.

It was a good day. I got it for my 12th birthday. Although I got it a few days later. Nice to share a birthday with this album!

True and I am glad that I saw them on that tour. I would still stand by my comment though. I think tonight showed they are not afraid to be a little risky with choices.

I think it is a ballsy setlist. Opening with 3 new songs, two songs from arguably their least popular albums and not having many ‘classics’ early on.

Good crowd participation and easier on Bruce’s voice.
