You mean the genocide on Russian speaking Ukrainians? And that is not just you. Many people take certain things for granted. If Maiden joined the media circus hysteria, I'd be disappointed, but I'd still listen to them.
2. Judas Be my Guide
3. The Duellists
4. Only the Good Die Young
5. Prodigal Son
+ The Parchment: I am sure they're not going to play it. I just know it. Even though it's their best track since 7th Son.
I'd love to see Alexander the Great too of course. But not as much as...
Why would the join the circus? What if they have a nuanced approach? When you express a nuanced point of view you're immediately labelled, regardless of what you say and how you express it. Also, there are six musicians in the band. There is Rod too. Who's opinion do you want to know? Each one...
You are objectively wrong. God told me in person. The Parchment is in the top 10 Steve Harris songs ever. Period. Dave's solo is also one his best ever. Adrian's are really cool as always, and Janick's are spot on. This is like a funeral procession. Which is why some don't get it. But they are...
I currently live in Tunisia. I am both Greek and French. Maiden might be playing live next year outside Athens, my hometown. I hope I'll be able to make it to the gig. I also hope they will play a few new tunes, especially The Parchment and Hell on Earth. Cheers
It's not bad at all. It just is my least favourite. This is a great record after all. I mean I love the Iron Maiden and I think Out of the Shadows is a very good tune. But I had to pick one off of every album :-)

Piece Of Mind: Flight of Icarus

Regarding longs songs. I wish they would take a year off, go on Jersey island again, with the same amenities they had in the 80s, no luxury, stay there for 3 months and come up with a triple album with 6 super long songs on every disc. With no choruses too. Dave and Janick would be forced by...
I agree 90% with what you wrote. You can sense it when someone disses the album because they haven't paid attention. Some people might genuinely not like it of course. But it is obvious that some just listened to it through bad speakers, while surfing the internet and chatting at the same time...
