Legacy Of The Beast Post-Pandemic Leg

This will be like an Ed Hunter 2.0 set with 2 or 3 new songs added, and I think it will work fine. Ed Hunter Eddie came out during Futureal in 1999, this time one of the new songs will have a Samurai Eddie instead.

It's some good stuff, and it's great that Adrian's material was used even after he left the band, but imagine the track with a stronger production and a better vocal performance, most of the 90's material would have benefitted from that. Red Dragon Cartel - Deceived

Also, this whole failed tour shows how difficult things were even for other former main metal acts in the United States at the time. I mean, Dio was massive in the 80's, with Holy Diver. That had gone platinum by 1989. But in 1998 he couldn't tour the U.S on his own anymore.

https://www.mtv.com/news/1430373/iron-maiden-pulls-plug-on-metal-mania-tour/ I think July 1998 was the start. The U.S tour wasn't that strong anyway, Dio and WASP couldn't draw many people in either and the latter pulled out. But they attributed the cancellation to Blaze's personal health...

Yes, that's true, and as i wrote, my interpretation "of what that came to mean". While recording in 1997, he was content with working with Blaze, doing a second album and had no plans to change anything, it wasn't until the summer of 1998 maybe that things started to alter.

    The Educated Fool

This is like the narrator on some songs on the X Factor album is coming out of his depressed state and is ready to face his destiny, to walk down the valley of life, in a wider sense Steve himself and Iron Maiden as an instutition. Lift the unturned stone = agreeing to take back Bruce and...

    Worldwide album sales

Tracking is from 1992-2005 for the numbers featured in this article. The 80's albums sold a lot more than Fear of the Dark, but sales before 1992 are not counted at all. That's why Tattooed Millionarie from 1990 is so low as well, just 21 000. It did a lot more!

    Worldwide album sales

I think it's correct to say that the success of Ozzy's solo career in America in the 80's and 90's (Blizzard of Ozz from 1980 has sold 5x platinum and No More Tears from 1991 4x platinum for example) propably made a lot of younger americans get into older Black Sabbath as well. Maiden has not...

He did really well with Wolfsbane on stage, great frontman and likeable on a personal level. I think those were the reasons, + he could propably pull of a decent audition. Maybe his vocal range was a little bit higher in 1993 as well, and that he could push himself a little bit more in order to...

I think everything is summarized here: https://maidenrevelations.com/2020/10/05/maiden-history-the-blaze-era-part-2-1997-1998/ No need for a video documentary on this topic, really.

If Bruce doesn't return you propably get a Barnyard production album with a completely new singer as well, Steve said it here with the statement i posted earlier: as well as with this: And at the end of the Virtual XI tour there were some not too pleasant things going on, like the rest of the...

    Blaze Bayley

I just listened to this recording, and came to realize that Blaze didn't overdub anything afterwards - instead they just practiced some copy and paste, and inserted the last chorus note also heard on the bootleg, into the other sections for this B-side. It sounds 100 % identical all the time...

I thought Blaze's vocals sounded better on the track in 1998, his lower register improved.

And the same goes for other singers performing material originally recorded by Blaze! Could be a great idea to do it like Sneap and Blaze, and record some vocal parts in the studio for future releases, judging from the recording above...

Steve also performed Man on the Edge with Blaze at Camden Underworld in London, in december of 2000. I don't think he has done such a performance with anyone else!

A theory regarding Maiden History part 4

Blaze's exit in detail & Bruce coming back is something they don't want to present on screen now. They didn't even want to speak fully about it in the Run to the Hills biography 20 years ago, Steve said this though:
