The Marvel Thread (Spoilers, and language!)

Black Panther is possibly the best Marvel movie, at least top 3.

I also very much enjoyed BP. The score, action, amazing visuals, and of course overall message all fit together well.

Only complaint is how predictable it was once the fight began with BP & Killmonger. I easily guessed that BP would lose and miraculously return. A shame that Klau had to die. Would like to see more of him. I like the way the past few films have mentioned once the after credits scene is over "our hero will appear next in whatever film". They borrowed that from the James Bond films.

I don't think it's the best but Top 10 for sure.
I would've liked if they spent a bit more time with Kilmonger before he came to Wakanda, and maybe a more memorable 2nd fight with him and BP but otherwise they nailed everything they could. Casino fight was awesome, and unlike most people, I actually really liked the CGI, didn't think it was bad, except maybe the battle rhinos. One of the best supporting casts too, you could put most of them into an Avengers/teamup movie and they'd fit right in. I think Okoye, Shuri and M'Baku are all in Infinity War.

Finished Jessica Jones S2.

DD S1 > Punisher S1 > DD S2 first 4 eps > JJ S2 > JJ S1 >>>>> Iron Fist S1 > Defenders S1 > Luke Cage S1

Although tbh I enjoyed all of them, even the Iron Fist season which everyone seems to hate (had plotholes, was still enjoyable).

It was crazy good. It's a miracle that they managed to cram in so many characters, yet the transitions between different settings and characters was smooth af. There was no chance of everyone getting equal spotlight, but a lot more did than I expected. I also have no idea how this gets resolved in the next movie.

I didn't dislike it but I was pretty underwhelmed. It had too much going on and I wasn't really invested in any of it.

Thanos was good though. I would've liked more of him and his minions. Maybe make it a Thanos movie and save the team up stuff for the next one.

Saw A: IW.

biggest surprise for me, even more than the ending, was the return of the Red Skull! Especially as vocal as Hugo has been about not wanting to be in another Marvel film. About that ending; in the trailer, the end was foreshadowed "You will learn to lose". Expected a major character to die, but not more than a dozen! Like @Night Prowler said, have no idea how this gets resolved next year. Wonder if we will see Stark telling Aunt May that Peter is dead? During the trailers when i saw Nomad, i knew he was wearing a dark suit, but it was not until i saw the film that i noticed it is his Captain America uniform (he just hasn't washed it in 2 years!). Never heard anyone refer to him as Nomad. Quill sure screwed everyone; they almost had Thanos. I did not enjoy Banner not changing to Hulk. He was missed.

Really loved the after credits scene with Fury calling Captain Marvel.
