Nicko McBrain

Nicko's super fast playing here is just amazing (1988). Listen to Where Eagles Dare! I still think the band could have played faster and more powerful metal back then, even though it's not his/their thing. Same with the other drummers.
When he started to play around the 27-minute mark, I thought I could sense Painkiller in it — he could pull it off with no problem.

It would have been excellent, but Steve probably forbid it at the time.

Hey guys, long time lurker don't post much but I was reading some of these comments and I was listening to Ed Hunter tour live 1999 on youtube mostly Los Angeles and I love the way the band played the songs with more power/heavier and faster they played the songs perfect for my liking on that tour. The whole band sounded amazing with bruce sounding like his voice in his prime. Anyone else listened to that tour? Great setlist aswell.

Nicko did another show with his solo band yesterday. Same 10 songs, but Chris from Bruce's solo band was there and they played Moonchild with him. And Heaven Can Wait too. :) They also played with Pat Travers.

Moonchild and Clansman were very lively, kudos Nicko.
