It's interesting that from all the possible versions of Children Of The Damned to be used we get one where Bruce trips up on the lyrics ( no "your back's against the wall"). I noticed it was recorded on April 1st... a coincidental April Fool's joke?
On my second listen, and it reminds me of the show vividly, so I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Reading the gripes here, but not finding the parallels to my own experience at all thankfully. Sounds great through my set up, especially Fear Of The Dark and Iron Maiden.
I love the reverb-heavy/still-retaining-crunch guitar sound on Somewhere In Time. The fact they never really kept it makes the album all the more special for me.

That sole vote for Death On The Road up there is mine. The Death songs sound better here than in the studio. Paschendale is an absolute joy. And that Dortmund crowd.... what a great clan of metal brothers, singing along at every opportunity, and loudly. Love it.
