What's Your favourite Judas Priest Album?

Painkiller!!!

The only two songs I don't like from SFV is Riding on the Wind and Bloodstone.
 
Mine too. Probably even my favourite Priest song from the 1980s. And Defenders my favourite Priest album of the 1980s. And its A side is the best A side in hard rock/heavy metal.

Where would it rank on your all-time albums list?

I can't decide Defenders Vs Vengeance for my fave 80's album.
 
That's not easy because I find side B of a lower level than side A.

On this forum I have been busy with a top 25 metal albums (-> click here ) but Defenders of the Faith is not featured because I wanted as much variation in bands as possible. This top 25 is not only classic / hard rock / heavy metal.

Still, there is only about a dozen of albums I have enjoyed as much as this one, so it would be in my top 25 for sure, if I'd allow more albums from the same band in it.
 
Ah ok. Defenders is definately a very good album, however nothing tops Painkiller for me :D
