Just last night I was watching a feature on an asteroid that we have a space probe following.  Its 20 miles wide and will hit the Earth one day.

Or did you have something else in mind?

I didn't know what Smaug is, I had to wik' it, I've never read Tolkien either

Ah, I'm with you now.  I'm gonna throw out a deep dark secret.. I read the Hobbit and the Trilogy years ago, but never did watch the flicks.  Tolkein paints a great mental picture and I just wasn't sure if I wanted to see someone elses pic of what I had in my head.

yeah, for this reason it's better I've never read Tolkien before
I was writing, by creating imaginairy worlds like Tolkien in a way so I believe having read him that period
would had me terribly influenced -so now is the time for me, that I don't write anymore
 
You would like his stuff, if you like fantasy.  He is a great read! (I didn't know you wrote, thats cool!)

well, most of the contemporary porn i have watched has had a 'techno' porn sound to it, rather than the Rufus-like 70's porn, you know?
