Abas
Jester with no tears
This isn't necessarily a top 10 list as much as it's a list of comments on the first 10 intros that come to mind:
Caught Somewhere in Time
It's literally the first thing I put on any pair of new headphones. As a matter of fact - just today when I got this new headset, I blasted that one on as the first thing.
Still Life
I'm ashamed to say that I'ven't listened that album much at all - even if it's one of my favourites. This track reminded me of how amazing that one is.
The Evil That Men Do
Great simple melody and a great mood setter for the song
Face in the Sand
Great (not as simple as The Evil That Men Do, though) melody and a great mood setter for the song. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I'm an absolute sucker for their E-G-C-D-A-C-D chord progressions that they use
Lightning Strikes Twice
A nice melancholic twist from what's a grim intro on The Aftermath
Moonchild
This one manages to speed up while going through a lot curves with twists and turns without falling off.
Blood Brothers
Simply nice and nicely groovy
The Clairvoyant
The best and most balanced among the bass intros. Not as overtly simple as Innocent Excile, not as partly contrived as The Red and the Black, and not as all over the place as Blood on the World's Hands.
Blood on the World's Hands
This one is all over the place! Chaotically meditative
Run to the Hills
Saved this one for last
