Roy Z Produces Darkside Of Aquarius cover

Discussion in 'Maiden Chat' started by Trond Nicolaisen, Dec 13, 2016.

  1. Norwegian metallers Tomorrow's Outlook have covered Bruce Dickinson's "Darkside Of Aquarius" for their new concept album, A Voice Unheard, in collaboration with two of the leading members of Russia's biggest and most famous heavy metal band, Aria.
"Darkside Of Aquarius" is taken from Bruce Dickinson's fourth solo album, Accident Of Birth, from 1997, which featured Roy Z as guitarist and producer.

Check out a sneak peek from the "Darkside Of Aquarius" studio session featuring Tomorrow's Outlook singer Tony Johannessen, and Vitaly Dubinin and Maxim Udalov from Aria.

A Voice Unheard was produced by Roy Z (Bruce Dickinson/Halford/Judas Priest) and is said to sound like a nice hybrid between such classic metal bands as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath. There is no exact release date for A Voice Unheard as of yet, but the album is scheduled for an early 2017-release.

  3. Thanks. If you enjoy the already mentioned bands, and classic 80's metal in general, you should indeed love our upcoming A Voice Unheard album. :)

So far we only released samples (not yet mastered) from the two cover songs we did, but in a few weeks we will release the first original track called Fly Away.

If you didn't do so already, please check out Slave To The Evil Force (Aria cover) -
