"Fuck this whore" instead of "Thought disorder"
Dream Theater - Voices
And Elton John's classic:
"And someone saved my life tonight, sugar bitch!"
As I danced with the dead my priest he was laughing and howling down at me - Dance of Death
Dozed off during "Empire of the Clouds" and instead: the coxswain stared heard: four cocks were squared. Interesting scene.
Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from an Italian Restaurant
"Our pizza travelled faaaaar..."
Not a set of lyrics as such: what is being said over the intro of "The Number of the Beast" on A Real Dead One? It seems to end with "is it do mi fal sol" but it doesn't make any sense! Help!
Just wanted to say this one is legendary and still pops up now and then, also during Maiden fan meets.
Just remembered one from Revelations...
And the CD store in a holy place
"I'm sick of geese"
Sepultura - Refuse/Resist

"Now I am cold, but a goat lives in my veins."
I'm gonna try and implant this one to our singer and see if I can get him to mess up and sing it that way one day.
Tonight, on silver wings, I am sorry for the mountains of the moon
That's not how it goes?????
My greatest misheard IM lyric was (while watching DOTR for the first time)
" Below my own Dave Murray
Just danced in the circle of death."
It's supposed to be soaring through.
It's been brought up numerous times already, but yeah, I'm another person who first heard "through the fucking ice" in Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Took me a few listens before I figured out what it was.
Fog and fuck is one of those phonetic similarities that artists use intentionally when they want to sing a dirty word with plausible deniability. For instance, "Apeman" by The Kinks has a line about how "the air pollution is foggin' up my eyes".
I'm going to hear this every time now, like I do the barbed wire hen in IESF.
"Below my own Dave Murraayyy!" Oh man that is great!! Totally hear this now
Yes, very good!
