Every summer is the hottest one in a gazillion years, no?
All except for The Express, who are probably forecasting snow, gales and a terrible winter. Plus a drop in house prices.
Brave New World is both better than I remember it and at the same time just as mediocre. The individual songs are mostly fine, but as a whole it's just meh. Still, it's proof that Maiden has never made a bad album, it still stands head and shoulders above many by other artists, and I'll say this for it, it can nonetheless draw you in. Still, it's the most mediocre of all of Maiden's albums.
I think you're looking for the Unpopular Opinions thread.
I was, too!
All caused by the disappearance of Madeleine McCann and immigrants.
Set in motion by the death of Diana.
Clickbait. My unpopular opinion would be that it's better to have 40(c) 3 months in a row, than 0 for 10 days.
I still remember summer of 2009, I was working on one of the islands and the soil was above 40(c). There's a big sea lake there (a big cove, acres, with a very narrow entrance), and its internal temperature was straight 30 degrees. It was a funny feeling, you're wet, but not cooled off.
Brucie's birthday today. 59 years young!
I was just about to post something to that effect.
I wonder what you get someone like Bruce for his birthday?
'Abduction' is in my Spotify Discover playlist this week.
This is such a great song. Gonna definitely put it on a loop later today in honour of Bruce's birthday.
Well I was gonna listen to some more Maiden and do some more rankings, but I guess I can fit this into my schedule too.
Ibuprofen or placebo effect. One of the two seems to have killed the headache that has bothered me for hours.
Or, of course, a combination of the two.
And not the beer?
How did you know I had a beer?
I have Montsegur stuck in my head. The chorus. Usually I find that earworms are good songs. I don't know what to think. Hmm...
