Pretty sure a little 4 track would have been a cassette back in those days
Little trivia: that casette was almost destroyed by Nicko after Mission From 'Arry argument. Bruce recorded that argument next to the demo of Powerslave.
From Griffin's instagram, a pic of Bruce's living room last Xmas. In it you can see, together with the keyboard he used to begin work on his magnum opus, what it seems to be an ukulele, so I wonder what other instruments he might use in future demos.
Stay tuned for Maiden's new 2018 album-closing masterpiece of 25 minutes written entirely by Bruce Dickinson, who also plays ukulele on the song.
How about angling epic by H? 'White waters of Canada'
I'll be surprised if Steve doesn't try to one-up Empire. The Steve/Bruce rivalry is the secret Maiden ingredient.
Steve has recently said that would be daft, but you never know...
The red and the black: parts 2,3and 4..
With even more bass intros!
Steve, H, Dave, and Janick...on bass.
I just hope the Bruce doesn't try to top himself. I'm not convinced by his first incursion in the epic, and I don't want more.
Nicko on BBC Sheffield radio earlier today:
Gotta love the off broadcast chat!
I think it is a great song, in my opinion certainly much better than some other recent epics (no bass intro! ). That being said, there is no need to do it again.
Indeed. It was interesting to hear that Bruce was staying in York so he could go to the National Railway Museum (fantastic place for those who love steam trains).
Yeah. Been there!
