@Mosh, Unknown One, Night Prowler: I wonder what do you guys exactly like so much about Dethrone Tyranny that you prefer it over Dream Healer.
Tyranny sounds to me like a -relatively seen- rather standard power metal song, with way less tension and atmosphere than Dream Healer. I also find the riffs and melodies less good.
I'm afaid Scheepers might be a reason for you guys, but surely, if you ask me, I find Dream Healer a much more special (more unique) song in the catalog.

Has nothing to do with Scheepers, although I think I do prefer Hansen overall as a singer (although Hansen hasn't sounded the best for the past couple of albums). But Scheepers is still a great singer (and I know Mosh prefers Scheepers to Hansen).
It's basically just a matter of what I like more, only Unicorn is not in my top 20.

I don't like Ralf in Gamma Ray at all. I prefer re-recordings of songs from first 3 albums with Kai on vocals. Ralf is much better in Primal Fear.

I love Heart of the Unicorn. One of the best Painkiller style songs ever done. 
It's not only very heavy, it also very catchy. Some of vocal melodies are excellent and the screams rule!
I am not sure why I prefer it over Somewhere Out in Space. Probably the intensity and awesomeness in the couplets. *headbangs while only thinking about them*

Yeah, I actually like Unicorn a lot as well but it's hovering about the low 20s or so (also one of the heaviest songs Gamma Ray ever did!). I agree that it is heavy and catchy, but I think songs like Tribute to the Past, Men Martians and Machines, Lust For Life and Strangers in the Night as examples are almost as heavy and are more catchy.

They are catchy in a different way perhaps. The melodies in some of these songs are a bit happier I think. Unicorn isn't like that. It brings a more exciting /"evil"/intense feeling. And it's probably the screams that do it a little extra for me, though Martians is an absolute favourite for me (I might like it even a bit more).
