Did you notice the crowd when it came on, when you saw Blaze?
I bet it had one of the most enthusiastic audience reactions.

Easily top 3 material. I find it the best (and most Maidenish!) song Blaze ever did.

I've seen it twice, and neither time did it really strike me as exceptional to me or the crowd.  A lot of songs got a more positive reaction.  I must admit I'm very surprised it made this far, I didn't know people liked it so much.

Definitely not when I saw him on three different tours.

In the last survivor this song became second. Everyone his own taste but I am surprised that you are surprised. This song has everything in it to be liked by Maiden fans. Superb intro, fast, catchy melodies, solos, great emotional chorus (possible the best chorus of the album), riffs, tempo changes, well structured...  This song has the status of Hallowed Be Thy Name, because it's very popular and they always play it.

Agreed about his most Maidenish song. Not only it has traditional Maiden harmonies, intro, and structure with bridge before the back-to-back solos, it manages to recreate the trademark Maiden build-up that's essential to the power of their songs!
It is one of my top tracks. Maybe the favourite one. Stare At The Sun has phenomenal intro and one of the best metal riffs ever behind it's verses, but it does seem to drag a little bit, and the chorus isn't on par.

Stare at the Song is very special as well but I think that Born as a Stranger has more fire, more spirit, so to speak.

Different country, different audiences maybe?  It is of course possible that I remember wrong.  It's a great song, but off the top of my head I could name about 10 Blaze songs that I personally like more, as well as all the regular Maiden songs he plays live.

Who knows he'll visit Finland again, and maybe indeed you're right, but check it out. I saw Blaze when he promoted his first three albums, which was a while back, but remembering the huge enthusiasm when that song came on, it'd be a weird idea if that has changed already.

He's visited Finland in 2008, 2009 and 2010 at least, so I'm fairly confident I'll see Blaze live within a year or so.  I'll pay attention. ;)

As for my vote: Ghost in the Machine.
