As we progress the best songs are left standing. Each round is 2 days long. The top ten songs from this series will proceed to the next series, where they compete against the next group of songs.

Eventually we'll have an overall top 10, and then we'll eliminate those songs one by one until only The Best Heavy Metal Song survives.

Hey!!!! Maybe I should start paying more attention to these polls -- the name of this one caught my eye, obviously.  As you might have guessed, I'm not voting for any on my own list.  I vote to eliminate the following Wasted picks: April Wine, Audioslave and ... hmm ... Megadeth, if for no other reason than it has a French title.  :p

EDIT:  Never mind, April Wine and Audioslave are already out.  I'll vote for [against] Hurricane and Breaking the Silence.
