Thanks for hosting, Dog! I really enjoyed playing this. I wish the top ten had more variety, maybe one too many Judas Priest albums. Ride The Lightning is definitely not better than most albums. As Cornfed said, that best album by era is a better list than any of the top tens. Especially loving the presence of 2 Opeth albums. Scenes isn't my favorite album but it's nice to see Dream Theater there anyway.
 
That best album by era may have more variety but that's not what the game was about.
It was about separate albums, battling each other. And the most favourite/best/you name it... albums won. The albums were not chosen because they "fitted" better in the selection.
 
It's not just that there's more variety. That list features more of my favorite albums.

I'd put most of those albums above at least half of the top ten.
