It's going worse with Apple. Their systems fail, and they sell less:

American Customer Satisfaction Index study revealed that Samsung has moved ahead of Apple in the handsets category. A Forrester study of customer satisfaction with tech companies showed that, just from 2013 to 2014, Apple fell behind Samsung, Sony and – horror of horrors! – Microsoft.

And the working conditions are still bad:

Don't pretend things are any different than that for Samsung or Sony or any other tech company. All tech companies make their living on virtual slaves in China.
