Well, I've walked in front of this house myself, as I've visited The Cart and Horses, but I wouldn't have dared to take a picture, let alone to enter the front yard.

Imposter no, and I don't mean to hurt his many fans. But I just don't understand all the praises. He is not a the fantastically good guitar player some hear in him, and is far away from Dave, who is lazy, and, while he has written a few great songs, he is not a great composer: too many avagerage...

So many examples of "dirty playing". This tape is one of the main reasons why I don't buy all this "Adrian Smith" is the best Maiden guitarist. He even butchers Wrathchild!

Iron Maiden Tour 2025 - Discussion

The songs did suffer, actually. Just compare Hell on Earth to the album version: without the "fills, it loses something.

Well, you don't recover from a stroke by resting. You actually need to be the more active you can, to reconnect your brain to your body. Resting would actually have preventing him to recover.

    Adrian Smith

You are right, it's been his most interesting record out of Maiden, and a very surrprising one.

    Adrian Smith

Instrumental album? He tends to write rather generic riffs, and, unless he loses himself in long solos, I don't see the point of piling up stuff like the riffs of WotW.

    Steve Harris

At least you avoided refering to Beckett.

    Steve Harris

So do I. I also hope he will write it by himself, not using any ghost writer. He has improved a lot in that department, and I'd rather read a genuine account plagued with grammatical errors than the generic bullshit most of these books are made of.

    Bruce Dickinson

You knew you would be asked, but could you be more specific? It's not just a casual subject here: are you saying Maiden's longest member after Steve is seriously willing to retire soon?

    Bruce Dickinson

Resurrection Men is the only song I fully appreciate. Others could get better after a few listens, but some are not my stuff: too much power ballad sounding stuff.

    Steve Harris

What an arrogant statement. He is free to enjoy anything. Some people truly like AC/DC or even Sabaton. And remove any important member of any band band, and it doesn't sound the same.

Killers: individual album judgement by yours truly

Sorry, I thought you were presenting it as a fact.

Which songs are you talking about please ? Come on. Earlier live recordings contradict your assumption, and Innocent Exile is one of Steve's very first songs.

    MAIDEN TRIVIA OF THE DAY

Actually, Harris jumped on a security guy who was beting a fan. Can't remember when exactly, but he told the story himself and said he soon got help from the crew because the uy was huge.

I tried it again recently, after ignoring it for many years and hoping to be proven wrong. Still boring to my ears. As for Smith and Harris' songs, Lord of Light and Brighter than a Thousand Suns are real masterpieces.
