Coming in from the cold, it would be good to join up on something here. Looks like Weert is a do-able option for me. Is anyone else yet to buy tickets for that one?

Haha, I certainly am! And my brother has been jettisoned along the way, to make room for more dedicated Maiden fans.

Also, if we go to Dublin, we could try to resurrect Daire and have him show us some local places, i.e, pubs.

Thanks Forostar for alerting me to this. To confirm: I will be going to the London show. (Albie, looking forward to a pint, mate!) And to one other, Dublin would be great if others are there too.

I was playing Snake Bite Love just two days ago. I saw this band something like five or six times live. What a guy. It's a sad day for rock and roll.

The Ruskin Arms is dead afraid. The best metal bars are: Black heart ( Camden ) The Dev (Camden) Big Red (Holloway Road) If I can be bothered I'll suggest some none tourist, but it'll be terribly dull.

Yep, this other one was in Marylebone, near Baker Street. I'm still doubtful that we had the right place.

Thanks for the heads up, Foro. I'm unlikely to head that far east on a Sunday to see that though. The Plough and Harrow is one of the pubs we visited a few years back. Was it one of the ones with a question mark over it? If so, this clears it up as it is definitely the same pub.

Yup. It's on the 6th floor of my building instead of the 7th. It's not a major change but having been close to quitting a few months ago to take time off work, it's a welcome one.
