Fellaini should start the next game. I don't care if it'd mean they'd play hoof-it-to-the-microphone again, it'd probably produce better results. It was easy for Rooney to score 3 tap-ins against Brugge who played 3rd choice defence in that game.

If we dont have a new striker than yes, Fellaini will either score or give room for the others to score. That wil atleast bring cheers!

Im actually shocked by this 3 years downword spiral of Rooney, but this season really takes the cake. We are talkig a 250.000 a week player here.
I feel LVG is beeing stubborn here, that he wants to prove Rooney is the right choice. Blaiming the defenders i wont do either. They been good for the last 20 games. When the attackers dont score sooner or later the defence will drop 2 goals.

On top of that it was actually Rooney who started the counter for the 1-1 Goal. A failed 5 meter pass. Its so basic its insane.

Van Gaal's expectations from Rooney are ridiculous. He doesn't perform nearly as well as usual when he doesn't have a partner. He had Van Nistelrooy when he first started at United, then Cristiano Ronaldo started playing more like a forward than a winger, then he had Carlos Tevez, then Dimitar Berbatov, then Robin van Persie.

Fellaini, although not a forward, can be that distruptive partner Rooney is looking for.

Anthony Martial from Monaco on the way to Manchester United, Chicharito on the way to Bayer Leverkusen and Januzaj might be loaned out to Borussia Dortmund.

In Italy, hopefully Milan signs a midfielder today, Witsel is the main rumor.

Meanwhile Galatasaray signs Fuck All. Supposedly a big talent.

Martial rumors are seeing a massive backlash by people don't know what they're talking about. Martial is an amazing talent. Perfect fit for Premier League as well.

Telles is a loan deal, which is a good call. Inter have the option to buy him at the end of the season at €9m. Lionel Carole is a better left back anyway, so no complaints. Melo, on the other hand, is a massive loss because we have nobody to replace him. We did manage to get €3.7m in return for a 32 year old, though. Financially solid move.

Galatasaray is in a horrible place financially, couldn't expect much from them on the deadline day. Fenerbahçe made a big splash with €55m spent this summer while we only spent around €4m. Kevin Großkreutz is a decent last day signing though.

The current Galatasaray lineup after the deadline:

That midfield is not going to survive the Champions League. Way too soft. Strong enough for the league title contention, but won't be easy dealing with this side:

I feel like Van Gaal is gonna alienate everyone at Man Utd by the end of his contract in 2 years, but he'll build a squad that someone else is gonna rule the world with, just like he did with Bayern.

So... apparently Man Utd and Real ****ed up with delivering the papers to Spanish league until the deadline and the deal De Gea <-> Navas won't happen...

Galatasaray management member who was responsible with the transfers forgot to sign the document for Grosskreutz transfer, resulting in the player not given the provision to play for six months. This is the nail in the coffin. They've already lied to the fans about sponsorship deals*, Galatasaray TV**, works on the stadium*** and various other subjects****. I'm putting my fandom on hold until these inept lying sacks of shit fuck off. Galatasaray is not your fucking toy.

#DursunÖzbekİstifaEt, calling for the resignation of the club's chairman, is now the #1 worldwide trending topic on Twitter.

* Dursun Özbek, upon election, claimed that he had agreed on the biggest sponsorship deal in Galatasaray's history. Three weeks into the season, Galatasaray are still playing without a sponsor on their shirt.
** Galatasaray TV is a private channel, it was supposed to be expanded and made a public channel, like Fenerbahçe TV is. Didn't happen.
*** The stadium was due for a roof project. Nothing is going on. Özbek claimed to have agreements with the city government about a road that would connect to a stadium. Nothing is going on.
**** Özbek claimed that Fiorentina asking for €9m for Mario Gomez ended the negotiations between the club. Beşiktaş signed him on loan for free and set the end-of-season clause at €5m the following week. He promised two big name signings that were due to be announced on the next Monday, twelve Mondays came and went since then and nothing happened. He also appointed his brother, who wasn't a member of the club, as the Sporting Director of the club. His brother gave one of the most inept players on the squad a raise and signed him to a 3 year deal, signed a Championship player who hadn't played for a year, then Özbek pointed to Financial Fair Play regulations as the cause of them not signing anyone.
